Sometimes, all we need is for someone out there to recognize the brilliant light we are capable of becoming.

Ashley Hancock had a one-of-a-kind soul. She was the kind of person you meet and feel instantly connected with. She was the owner/founder of Edify Permanent Cosmetics in Sandy, Utah, and an extremely talented artist who left her mark in the world of PMU.

Ashley and I met during our “Trainer Training” at Nouveau Contour, USA in 2017. We quickly became close friends and confidants, as we had very similar businesses - servicing clients, launching our PMU academies, we even worked with many of the same PMU vendors.

She and I often shared trade secrets and life experiences. We cheered each other on when work – or life – got sticky.

Ashley had the biggest, giving hearts. She was committed to “gifting” one training per year to someone who desperately wanted to improve their life situation but did not have the financial means. 

She was extremely passionate about this and chose this person from her heart – which is something I truly admired so much about Ashley.

Sadly, on 11/9/19 Ashely Hancock passed away unexpectedly at 40 years young. She left behind 2 beautiful daughters, Harper and Henlzee, as well as many fellow artists that considered Ashley their mentor and friend.

Prettyology Academy (and I) are truly honored to carry on Ashely’s tradition of giving from the heart. We have created the Ashley Hancock PMU Scholarship Award which is awarded to one recipient per year who has an affinity for beauty, is trying to improve their life situation but does not have the means to pay for their PMU training.

Applications are accepted through the month of December. The recipient is chosen and announced in January of the following year.

We do this to honor Ashley Hancock, and to keep her spirit alive in the world of PMU.
